I save water by having a barrel catch all my laundry water outside. We ran pvc from the washer exit hose through to the outside where it automatically runs into a 55 gallon drum. Then we run a hose from the barrel to the garden and use our greywater to water the garden. Of course, we only use my homemade or some other nontoxic laundry detergent in the wash. Teresa Colyn

We reduced our water pressure so when the sink faucets are running, less water is coming out. Also, we wash dishes in a sink full of water instead of each utensil under running water.
